However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. JOHN 16:13(NKJV)

The primary way God speaks to us is through His Word in Partnership with the Holy Spirit. You are always going to meet with God through the pages or portion of the scriptures. His Word is the mechanism that gives us the privilege to hear Him. The more you know the Word of God, the more clearly you can hear Him. Most time God’s speak to you through the Word, the power of the Word. When you open the word, the Holy Spirit can illuminate you with guidance, direction, insight and clarity, encouragement and comfort.

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. JOHN 6:63(NKJV)

The reason why we go to the scriptures is because the scripture is the revelation of what He would say and what He would not say, His character, personality and his dealing with men. The Scripture is a revelation of how God handled circumstances previously with people in the past who went through with some of the things we are going through now. I pray for you today, as you open the Word, may light from God’s Word illuminates your heart with all clarity and understanding.

Prayer of the Day: Father in the name of Jesus, I ask, as I study your Word, cause your voice of divine direction to illuminate my life with higher decree of understanding
