God does not strengthen us merely to survive; He strengthens us to advance and accomplish greater works. There is strength that enables you to endure, but there is also strength that empowers you to move forward, overcome limitations, break through barriers, and accomplish what once appeared beyond your capacity.

David understood this when he declared, “For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall.” The obstacles before him did not disappear simply because he knew God. Rather, God gave him the ability to overcome them. Divine strength does not always remove the wall; sometimes it empowers you to leap over it.

This is important because greater works will often come with greater demands. New levels may require greater discipline, greater wisdom, greater endurance, and greater spiritual capacity. If you depend only on yesterday’s strength, today’s responsibilities can become overwhelming. But God has fresh strength available for every new assignment.

Daniel 11:32 says, “The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” Knowing God produces strength, and that strength produces exploits. The deeper our confidence in God becomes, the less intimidated we are by what He has called us to accomplish. Greater works become possible when divine strength becomes our source.

There may be things before you today that appear bigger than your present ability. Do not allow their size to determine your expectation. God told His people, “I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you.” When God strengthens you, what appeared too difficult becomes possible. What once intimidated you becomes something you can confront with confidence.

Habakkuk described God as the One who gives him feet like the deer and enables him to walk on high hills. Higher places require greater stability and strength. In the same way, when God takes you higher, He develops the capacity necessary to function effectively at that level. God does not only take you higher; He strengthens you to remain effective there.

Therefore, do not shrink your assignment to the size of your natural ability. Allow God to enlarge your capacity to the size of the assignment. There is more strength available in God than the demand that is before you. His power is greater than your weakness, His grace is greater than the pressure, and His ability working through you is greater than the obstacle.

You are strengthened to advance. You are strengthened to overcome. You are strengthened to carry greater responsibilities. You are strengthened to produce greater results. You are enabled with strength for greater works and great exploits.

DAILY APPLICATION

Identify one responsibility or assignment that has appeared too difficult for you. Instead of focusing on your limitations, consciously depend on God’s strength. Pray over it, seek His wisdom, and take practical steps toward accomplishing it. Do not reduce what God has called you to do because of how strong you presently feel; draw greater strength from Him.

PRAYER OF THE DAY

Father, thank You for being the source of my strength. Strengthen me for every assignment, responsibility, and opportunity You have placed before me. Increase my capacity to overcome obstacles, withstand pressure, and produce greater results. Where there are walls before me, empower me to rise above them. Make me strong in You and enable me to accomplish great exploits for Your glory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I am strong in the Lord, my capacity is enlarged, and I am empowered for greater responsibilities. I do not retreat before challenges; I advance by divine strength. I am strengthened to build, serve, lead, overcome, produce, and accomplish greater things. I know my God, I am strong, and I carry out great exploits!
