ENABLED WITH STRENGTH FOR GREATER WORKS — PART 2

Ephesians 6:10 (NKJV)
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”

2 Timothy 4:17 (NKJV)
“But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me.”

1 Samuel 30:6 (NKJV)
“But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.”

Psalm 84:7 (NKJV)
“They go from strength to strength; each one appears before God in Zion.”

2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV)
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

There are times when what God has placed before you is greater than the strength you presently feel you possess. The responsibility may be greater, the assignment may be more demanding, and the challenges may require more from you. At such times, God does not expect you to depend entirely on your natural strength. He invites you to draw from His strength.

Paul said, “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” Our strength as believers is not limited to our physical energy, intellectual ability, experience, or available resources. There is strength that comes from the Lord. When your strength is insufficient, His strength becomes your supply.

Paul experienced this personally. In 2 Timothy 4:17, he testified, “The Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me.” Notice that God strengthened Paul for a purpose. Divine strength is given to enable us to fulfill divine assignments. When God gives you something to accomplish, He also supplies the strength necessary to complete it.

David also faced a moment when everything around him could have weakened him. Yet Scripture says, “David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.” There will be moments when encouragement from people may not be available and circumstances may not look favorable. In such moments, you must know how to draw strength from your relationship with God. Through prayer, the Word, worship, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, your inner man can be renewed and strengthened.

God’s strength does not always mean the removal of every difficulty. Sometimes it is the supernatural capacity to keep moving, keep building, keep believing, and keep fulfilling your assignment despite the pressure. This is why God told Paul, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Where human ability reaches its limit, divine strength continues.

You are not called to move from weakness to weakness but from strength to strength. Yesterday’s strength may have carried yesterday’s responsibilities, but greater works require greater capacity. God continually strengthens, develops, and enlarges us so that we can carry more, accomplish more, serve more effectively, and fulfill greater responsibilities.

Therefore, do not allow the demands of your next level to frighten you. The God who brought you there is able to sustain you there. Greater works come with greater grace. Greater responsibilities come with greater strength. Greater assignments come with greater divine enablement.

You are not facing what is ahead with your strength alone. The Lord stands with you and strengthens you. Your capacity is increasing. Your spiritual stamina is increasing. Your ability to withstand pressure is increasing. You are going from strength to strength, and you are enabled by God to accomplish greater works.

DAILY APPLICATION

Whenever you feel overwhelmed by the responsibilities before you today, do not immediately conclude that you cannot handle them. Turn to God in prayer and consciously draw strength from Him. Feed your spirit with His Word, speak His promises over yourself, and take the next necessary step. Do not measure your assignment by your natural strength; measure it by the strength God makes available to you.

PRAYER OF THE DAY

Father, thank You because You are the source of my strength. Strengthen me in my inner man and empower me for every responsibility and assignment before me. Where I have become weary, renew my strength. Where my natural ability is insufficient, let Your supernatural ability take over. Increase my capacity, endurance, wisdom, and spiritual stamina. I receive strength to advance, build, serve, overcome, and accomplish greater works, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

FAITH CONFESSION

I AM ENABLED WITH STRENGTH FOR GREATER WORKS! I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. The Lord stands with me and strengthens me. I do not collapse under pressure, I do not surrender to weariness, and I do not retreat from my divine assignment. I go from strength to strength. God’s grace is sufficient for me, His power is working mightily in me, and my capacity is continually increasing. I have strength for greater responsibilities, greater assignments, and greater works. In Christ, I am strengthened to accomplish all that God has called me to do!
