The price for Increase (Love)

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. John 13:35(NKJV)

Every true kingdom increase is rooted in walking in love—not manipulation or selfish gain. Love builds trust, and trust builds lasting influence. Love Is the foundation of all Increase. Everybody wants increase — more joy, better relationships, success, peace, and even blessings from God. But sometimes, we look in all the wrong places. The truth is: Love is one of the greatest ways God brings increase into our lives. When love leads, increase follows. We live in a world where people are constantly looking for increase — increase in wealth, influence, peace, joy, and relationships. But often, we overlook the divine principle that love is one of the greatest channels God uses to bring increase into our lives.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body [a]to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.1 Corinthians 13:1-3(NKJV)

Love increases influence. Jesus didn’t conquer hearts with power but with love. His compassion drew crowds. His kindness made sinners listen. His love increased His influence. People don’t remember what you said as much as how you made them feel. When you treat others with kindness, patience, and respect, even when they don’t deserve it, your influence grows. Jesus loved people others rejected, and they followed Him everywhere He went. When you walk in love, people listen. Your light shines brighter. Without love, even the greatest gifts and achievements are empty. But when we walk in love, our words carry weight, and our actions leave a lasting impact. If you want to influence your home, workplace, or community? Start with love. Show kindness when others show anger. Love can even disarm the hardest hearts.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity… for there the Lord commanded the blessing.” 133:1,3(NKJV)

Love is a spiritual force that fuels unity and attracts God’s blessings. Where there is genuine love, there’s cooperation, peace, and shared success. When we live together in unity, God commands a blessing. And unity only comes when there’s love — love that forgives, understands, and sticks together. The early church in Acts 2 had “all things in common,” and their numbers increased daily — because love was their foundation.  Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45 and [a]sold their possessions and goods, and divided[b] them among all, as anyone had need. 46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. ACTS 2:44-47(NKJV). If you want to see growth in your ministry, family, or business, sow love. Encourage, forgive, and support each other. Love increases fruitfulness and invites God’s hand of increase.

“Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” Galatians 6:7(NKJV)

Love produces a huge harvest. When you sow love, you’re planting seeds for a harvest. A kind word, a generous deed, or a moment of compassion doesn’t go unnoticed in God’s eyes. Think of Ruth. She showed love and loyalty to Naomi — and God gave her a husband, a family, and a legacy connected to Jesus. Are you in need of increase? Don’t just pray for a harvest — sow the seeds. Sow love, even when it’s not convenient. Love always produces increase in due season. Love is more than a commandment — it’s a strategy for growth. Where there is love: Relationships thrive, communities flourish and God commands blessings. Love may seem simple, but it’s powerful. It’s not weak — it’s strong. It multiplies what you give and brings increase where there was lack.

Here is our call to action today, ask yourself: Who can I love more intentionally today? Where can I sow kindness, patience, or forgiveness? And as you take a step of faith in obedience, expect God to bring the increase.

Prayer of the Day: Father in the name of Jesus, I ask that you help me to love like You love. Let my actions, words, and heart reflect Your grace. Use my love to bring increase — not just in my life, but in the lives of those around me. Amen.
