“Be strong and courageous… Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:6–9(NIV)
We are living in uncertain times — politically, morally, economically, spiritually. Fear is trying to be the loudest voice in our generation. But this is the Church’s moment to rise, not retreat. Courage isn’t just for heroes in the Bible. It’s for every believer filled with the Holy Spirit. What would happen if you obeyed God even when you were afraid? God doesn’t say, “Feel courageous. “He says, “Be courageous.” That means courage is a decision, not a personality trait.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power…”2 Timothy 1:7(NIV)
Nehemiah rebuilt Jerusalem’s walls under constant threats. What situations are you approaching with fear instead of power? Are you asking the Holy Spirit to fill you daily? Courage Often Looks Like Obedience, Not Bravery. Sometimes we think courage is shouting, standing on stages, or confronting kings. But often, courage looks like: Forgiving someone who hurt you. Saying “no” to temptation. Choosing faith when the outcome is unclear. Staying when it’s easier to run. The truth of God says: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper…” (Isaiah 54:17) “Greater is He that is in you…” (1 John 4:4) “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5). “God is calling a generation of lion-hearted believers. Not loud in the flesh — but bold in the Spirit. Are you ready to lay down fear and receive a fresh infilling of courage from the Holy Spirit,
Prayer of the Day: Father in the name of Jesus, I declare that “I am filled with the Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. I will not fear what man can do.
I am a child of the King. The Spirit of courage lives in me. I will obey. I will speak. I will stand.
In Jesus’ name!”
