But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. ISAIAH 40:31 (KJV)

The secret to supernatural progress is waiting on the Lord to be empowered, to receive guidance and to receive divine strength. There is a call for us to find quality time each day to stay in God’s presence. Only those who wait will have their strength renewed. Only those who wait will be empowered to run and not be weary. Only those who wait will walk and not faith. In the above scripture, the life of a believer who has the spiritual discipline of waiting upon the Lord (in Fasting, Prayer, Worship, Word Study and Fellowship) is compared to the eagle’s character of waiting for a rebirth and for a renewal of strength. The eagle has the character and discipline of waiting. Do you know that the eagle has the longest life span among all the birds, 70 years. But after 40 years, the eagle’s sharp and hooked beak: for tearing flesh which is a crucial tool for feeding and the talons: powerful claws for catching and holding onto prey don’t work anymore? The eagle will either choose to die and wait for a rebirth to renew strength for 150 days. The process requires an eagle to fly to a mountain, to knock off the beak against the rock, wait for a new beak to grow, then, it will pluck out the talons and the feathers and wait for 5 months for new ones to grow again. This enables the Eagle to live for another 30 years. If you lack the spiritual discipline that constraints you, your divine assignments, mandates and opportunities may be aborted or may not be fulfilled. Never lack the discipline to tarry before God. We cannot access the gates God have already opened without empowerment because there are forces that are bent to fight divine prophecies in your life from coming to pass. Jesus really knows this, that was why He told His disciples to wait until they are empowered

And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. LUKE 24:49 (KJV)

After Jesus’s ascension, His disciples waited in prayer and fellowship for 10days in the upper room until the power came. If the disciples began their journey by waiting to be empowered, you cannot begin each day without seeking empowerment from God. Apostle Paul said “But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost. 9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. 1 CORINTHIANS 16:8-9 (KJV)” In life you will meet human beings who are demonic entities and Satanic walls. And I want to assure you that you will need the power of God to overcome them.  I declare over you today that doors are opening for you and God is removing every wall in your life and every demonic entity standing your way in the name of Jesus. You will need power to discomfit and overcome them. The reason why there is no power in our lives today is because nobody wants to wait on the Lord. We want everything sharp, sharp, and quick, quick. Make up your mind to wait on Him until your change comes. Job said “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Job 14:14 (KJV).  I see your desired change coming today by the power of God in Jesus name
