Price for Increase (Unwavering Determination)

“…Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14(NIV)

Determination is a mark of faith. Faith is not just believing God can do it—it’s holding on when it looks like He won’t. There are seasons in life when everything seems to stand still—your prayers go unanswered, your work feels unnoticed, and your dreams appear delayed. But let me remind you today: God honors unwavering determination. Increase is not always immediate, but it is inevitable when we remain steadfast. Abraham waited 25 years for the promised son. Joseph endured betrayal and prison before stepping into leadership. Their determination was rooted in their faith. Every step you take in obedience—even without results—is a seed sown in faith.

“But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” 2 Chronicles 15:7 (NIV)

Determination doesn’t grow in comfort—it grows in conflict. Obstacles are opportunities in disguise. David didn’t become king overnight. He first had to face lions, bears, and giants. Your Goliath is not there to stop you; it’s there to reveal what God put in you. For instance, a diamond is formed under pressure. Don’t curse your pressure—let it shape you.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

Delay is not denial. There is a due season coming. Don’t let temporary fatigue rob you of permanent reward. God’s timing is perfect, but it rarely aligns with our calendar. A river cuts through rock not because of its power, but because of its persistence. When God sees your persistence, He releases His power. Determination draws divine Favors and divine supplies. The woman with the issue of blood pushed through the crowd—her determination made room for her miracle. Blind Bartimaeus cried louder when others told him to be quiet—his miracle met his boldness. Your determination is the bridge between your need and God’s supply. There Is always a huge harvest for the Determined. God does not and will never forget our labor. He will definitely reward us if we refuse to faint

For God is not unjust to forget your work and [a]labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. HEBREWS 6:10(NKJV)

When you stay planted in faith and purpose, increase must come. Increase may come in different forms: spiritual growth, open doors, financial blessing, restored relationships and so many other ways. Don’t let the delay discourage you. Don’t let the dry season distract you. Don’t let the silence make you quit. Keep going. Keep pressing. Keep believing. Because unwavering determination always brings increase.

Here is our call-to-action: Where have you been tempted to give up? Today, recommit your heart, your hands, and your hope to God’s process. Ask for renewed strength. Stand firm in faith. Expect increase—not just someday, but soon.

Prayer of the Day: Father in the name of Jesus, strengthen my weary heart today. Revive determination in me. Remind me that Your promises never fail and that my increase is on the way. I trust Your timing, I embrace Your process, and I choose to keep going. Amen.
