Love is Patient

Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. 1 Corinthians 13:4 (AMPC)

The first character trait that describes love is “patience,” and if I want to walk in love, I must be willing to be patient with myself, patient with God and patient with people. We should pray that God will help us to be the kind of person He wants us to be at all times—one that imitates His behavior, walks in love, and is patient with those around us and those God has placed in our lives.

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. JAMES 1:19-20(NKJV)

Prayer of the Day: Father in the name of Jesus, grant me the grace of patience as I navigate my relationships with others. Help me to see beyond my frustrations and to embrace understanding and compassion. May Your love guide my hearts, allowing me to respond with kindness and tolerance. Strengthen my spirits to bear with one another, reflecting Your infinite patience in my life
