REFUSE TO DOUBT (Part 2)

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23 (KJV)

“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)” Hebrews 10:23 (KJV)

The Bible warns in James 1:6 that when you ask, you must do so in faith, without doubting. Doubt creates instability—it makes a person like a wave of the sea, tossed back and forth. This means doubt robs you of spiritual consistency and confidence. Faith, on the other hand, is anchored in God’s Word. Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. This means your faith gives reality to what has not yet appeared in the physical. Consider Abraham in Romans 4:20-21. He faced an impossible situation—his body and Sarah’s body were beyond natural ability to produce a child. Yet, he refused to doubt God’s promise. The Bible says he did not stagger in unbelief but was strong in faith, fully persuaded that what God had promised, He was able to perform.

Refusing to doubt is a deliberate choice. It means Choosing God’s Word over your feelings. Standing firm when circumstances say otherwise. Speaking faith even when results are not yet visible Jesus also emphasized this in Mark 11:23—if you do not doubt in your heart but believe, you will have what you say. Notice that the condition is not perfect circumstances, but a heart free from doubt.

Doubt weakens expectation, but faith builds it. Doubt questions God’s ability, but faith rests in His integrity. Doubt looks at the problem, but faith looks at God. Refusing to doubt does not mean challenges will disappear—it means challenges will not control your belief. You rise above them by holding tightly to God’s Word. Make this your lifestyle: refuse to doubt. When doubt tries to arise, answer it with the Word. Speak God’s promises, meditate on them, and act on them. Faith is not passive—it is active and intentional. The more you hold on to God’s Word, the more you will see His power manifested in your life. Stay steady. Stay convinced. Stay believing.

Daily Application: Refusing to doubt is a daily decision to align your thoughts, words, and actions with God’s Word. Begin each day by declaring His promises, holding firmly to Hebrews 10:23, and feeding your faith through Scripture as taught in Romans 10:17. Throughout the day, guard your mind by rejecting negative thoughts according to 2 Corinthians 10:5, and speak words of faith in line with Mark 11:23. When challenges arise, choose trust over fear, and maintain a heart of gratitude as encouraged in 1 Thessalonians 5:18. End your day by reflecting and reaffirming your faith, knowing that as you consistently refuse doubt, your confidence in God will grow stronger and His promises will become evident in your life.

Prayer of the Day: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You because Your Word is settled forever. Today, I receive supernatural grace to walk in unwavering faith. Every seed of doubt, fear, and unbelief is uprooted from my heart. I declare that my mind is fixed on You, and I trust you completely. Lord, strengthen my inner man. Help me to stand firm even when circumstances try to shake me. I silence every negative voice and align myself with Your truth. I declare that I am fully persuaded—what You have promised, you are able to perform. Let my faith produce visible, undeniable results. I will not waver. I will not fear. I will not doubt. I stand strong, and I receive the manifestation of Your promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Faith Confession: I refuse to doubt—God’s Word is final and settled in my life. I walk by faith and not by sight. My heart is established in trust, and I am unshakable. I believe every promise God has spoken, and they are manifesting in my life. I silence every voice of fear, uncertainty, and unbelief. My faith is strong, resilient, and producing undeniable results. I am fully persuaded that what God has promised, He is able to perform. No delay, no contradiction, and no circumstance can weaken my faith. I stand firm, I believe deeply, and I receive fully.
