The Price for Increase (Divine Timing)

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV)

We live in a world that glorifies speed—fast food, fast lanes, instant results. But the kingdom of God does not operate on our schedule. God operates on divine timing—a schedule we don’t control, but one that is perfect and full of purpose. Today, I want to encourage you: when you follow God’s timing, increase is inevitable. God is never late—He’s always on time. And in His perfect timing, He not only shows up, but He brings increase, abundance, and fulfillment with Him. There is a Season for Everything. God’s calendar is not like ours. We often want it now, but God operates on the timeline of purpose, not pressure. Seasons are set by divine order. Winter does not come before autumn. Likewise, God will not release your increase until the ground is prepared. Trust the process. Delay is not God’s denial; it’s often His preparation. God may be working on things you cannot see—aligning people, opening doors, and strengthening your character. If it hasn’t happened yet, maybe it’s not the season. Ask God, “What are you preparing in me before the increase comes?”

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. Isaiah 55:8-9(NIV)

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. GALATIANS 6:9(NIV)

Joseph was in Egypt for 13 years in waiting, but when the time came, he rose overnight to become second-in-command. Many people give up just before the increase arrives. Patience is not passive waiting—it’s active trust. It’s continuing to sow, to serve, and to obey even when you see no immediate reward. God tests our character in the waiting room. I want to encourage you to keep praying, keep giving and keep obeying God’s command. You’re not wasting time—you’re investing in divine timing. Trusting God’s timing requires faith and patience.

“You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.” Hebrews 10:36(NIV)

Faith means trusting even when you don’t understand. Patience is not passive—it’s active trust. God will never let what you’ve sown in obedience go unrewarded. When the time is right, God will not be stopped. God’s timing often defies logic so that His glory cannot be shared. Don’t measure God’s promises by your clock. His appointed time brings more than what you expected. Habakkuk 2:3 (NIV): “For the revelation awaits an appointed time… Though it lingers, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” Sarah was 90. Abraham was 100. From a human standpoint, the time had passed—but God said, “At the appointed time.” Your delay is not a defeat—it’s divine development!” What looks impossible is just a setup for supernatural increase. Divine timing releases and multiplies increase. You don’t need to force doors open—when it’s time, God opens doors no man can shut. When it’s your season, no devil, no system, no situation can block your breakthrough.

“He shall be like a tree planted by rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season.” Psalm 1:3(NIV)

One moment in God’s timing can accomplish more than years of striving in your own strength. When God moves in His time, increase comes pressed down, shaken together, and running over (Luke 6:38). God’s timing brings not just enough—but overflow. Waiting on God is not wasted time—it’s worshipful time. In your waiting, God is cultivating strength, vision, and endurance. While waiting stay faithful, prayerful, keep sowing the right seeds and keep on praising him.

“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength…” Isaiah 40:31(NIV)

God’s timing is not late. It’s perfect. And when His appointed time comes, increase will manifest—abundantly, exceedingly, and undeniably. Wait for it. Trust in it. Rejoice even before it shows up. Because divine timing always brings divine increase. God is setting you up for more than you asked for—at just the right time.

Prayer of the Day: Father in the name of Jesus, help me to trust in Your perfect timing. I lay down my deadlines and pick up Your design. Give me patience in the process, faith in the waiting, and strength to keep pressing forward. I believe that in Your time and as I wait for you, let there be a divine release of your supernatural increase in my life. Amen.
