God’s Voice Rules and Governs by Internal Peace. God does not govern by tension or stress. He will decide, determine and give direction to your life by internal peace. The peace of God has nothing to do with the things going on around you.

And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds… COLOSSIANS 3:15(AMPC)

Never act upon any Word you heard unless your heart is filled with peace. Peace does not mean the absence of challenges externally. Even when things are not going well but there is an internal voice that tells you that everything is under control. God does not want us to be in disorder but in harmony and peace. 1 CORINTHIANS 14:33(GNT

37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. MARK 4:37-39(NKJV)

Jesus and His disciples encountered a storm while obeying divine instruction. While on their way yet they were in the middle of God’s will, you can be in the middle of the storm and yet you are in the middle of God’s will. I know they were in the will of God because Jesus was on board the ship. They were in the will of God and in the storm. Sometimes storms will help you mature and become who God wants you to be. God can give you peace in the middle of the storm. I want to encourage you to wait for the peace of God concerning any matter.
