Looking unto Jesus, the [a]author and [b]finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. HEBREWS 12:2 (NKJV)
Looking onto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. The solution that you need in your life is to look unto Jesus, it’s not to look at people, it’s not to look at what is happening in the world, it’s not to look at your situation and circumstances, but to look unto Jesus. When you see Him, when you focus on him, when you understand what he did for you on the cross, when you understand who you are in Him and when you understand the magnitude of what you have in Him, then it becomes so easy to overcome and live the victorious life. The scripture says
They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed. PSALMS 34:5 (NKJV)
You cannot and will never be put to shame when you look unto Jesus and obey his precepts as revealed to you by the Spirit of God. Our relationship with God is a vital responsibility that needs total commitment. When you have relationship with the God of this universe and the God of all creation, you would know that it is worthy of you to be a Living Sacrifice unto him.
I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. ROMANS 12:1 (AMPC)
It’s common sense to be a Living Sacrifice and so what I want to encourage you to do is to look unto Him. When you are reading the Word, look unto Him. When you are praying, don’t just pray for things, pray to see the revelation of who the Lord is because when you see Him everything begins to change. Your desire must be to conform to His Image not to things. The Bible calls it your reasonable service
Prayer of the Day: Heavenly Father, I thank you. Jesus, I love you and I pray that you grant me grace to consistently look unto you and trust you for your leading in every area of my life. Help me to not depend on myself but to depend fully on you. Thank you for grace to present myself as a living sacrifice to you, in Words, in action and indeed.
